The city
of Dalat is the main centre of the Southern Highlands region. In the past it was
renowned as a cool, green city with a park-like environment. Dalat is
famous for its coffee shops, and is extremely popular with domestic
tourists and honeymooners.
Xuan Huong
lake is located in the centre of Dalat City , is a very beautiful lake. The surface of the
lake is as smooth as glass reflecting
the shadows of pine-trees which sing in the wind all day and night.
The road around Xuan Huong lake is fully surrounded by pine-tree
shadows, sometimes running straight, sometimes curved

The Valley of Love, About 5km north of the
centre of Dalat, Valley of Love ringed by hilly slopes covered with
pine forest. Under King Bao Dai, the valley was called Hoa Binh
(Peace) and then its name was changed to the Valley of Love.
In 1972, Da Thien Lake was created in the valley and thanks to this
enhancement, the beauty of the valley has become more poetic and
seductive for travelers and lovers

Prenn Falls are worth a visit and are located at the
foot of Prenn Mountain Pass. As you approach the falls, you
will be able to notice the subtle change in temperature brought by
the mist from the water falling from a height of 10m. The foot of the
falls is a small valley covered with flowers and pine trees. The
cascading water falls down over a small bridge that crosses the small
lake

Hang Nga Guesthouse
& Art Gallery,
nicknamed by locals the Crazy House. It's created by artist and
architect Mrs Dang Viet Nga (known as Hang Nga) Further out, you can
visit the villages of some of the hill tribes, such
as Lat Village and the Chicken Village
(with a huge statue of a chicken).

Buon Don is
located northwest of Buon Ma Thuot in Krong Na Commune, Buon Don
District, Dak Lak Province; close to the Cambodian border about
42km. Buon Don has been famous for its Kru, powerful elephant tribe
leaders, for a long time, and is well known in India and France for
its elephant. Y Pui, a 102-year-old man (1883-1985) who tamed over
450 elephants, spent part of his life as King Bao Dai’s Mahout.
Elephant training and hunting has been passed down through
generations. It takes 67 months to domesticate a wild elephant

D’raysap waterfall is 30
kilometers from Buon Ma Thuot. D’raysap is the name in the E De
language which means the Fall of Mist. This meaning is derived
from an observation that the powerful flow of the falling water is so
fierce that when it hits the water surface below, the water foams.
The continuous foaming of the water has made the falling water become
a vaporous cloud of mist. The echo of the falling water is heard from
a long distance throughout the year

The Gravehouse : According to aged old
customs of the people of ethnic minority groups in the Central Highlands, after the burial of the
deceased they grave to shelter the grave from rain and sunshine. The
hut is usually stocked with personal belongings of the deceased. Two
or three years later, family members of the deceased are going to
remove the hut and build a new, bigger wooden house there. In
addition, the grave is to have meticulous decorations. The grave
house is surrounded with a wooden fence within there is a wooden
statue resembling a human being, a bird or an animal. The practice of
removing the makeshift hut is usually organized in the spring and is
considered a festive day.
